6:8 Ministries

Back in 2023, I spontaneously signed up for a mission trip to Costa Rica last minute and not knowing anyone. Little did I know I would fall in love with 6:8 Ministries in Costa Rica and return the next summer as an Intern.

Being "the hands and feet of Jesus" was our mission for the whole summer, sourced from Philippians 2:1-11. I utilized every moment to serve how I could to the best of my ability so naturally, I became the Creative Intern, taking photos and making videos all summer long.

Every week, I'd create a memory video for the visiting mission teams to take back to the States with them. While these videos weren't complex and didn't necessarily show off my skill, they meant a lot to each team. Seeing them laugh and cry watching the videos for the first time was amazing. These videos served as a reminder to the teams of what God showed them down in Costa Rica. Watching how God used my skills and passion for video impact these team members was the perfect reminder of how I want work, "whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" 1 Corinthians 10:31.

I hold these videos and 6:8 Ministries very close to my heart.
